Enjoyable read

This was a sweet story though very generic as far as the closeted star trope goes. I'd like to read about Gunner.

This is a reverse Beauty and the Beast story. Katherine has a disfiguring birthmark on her face, and her family has hidden her away. When they die of the plague, Calen and his men take over the castle. Katherine knows the secret passageways and figures Calen can't identify her in the dark, so she visits him at night. It's a short and steamy story.

Fairly good erotica. They knew each other as boss and secretary for some time so the relationship didn't seem unrealistically fast. The relationship took center stage here although there was plenty of hot sex. The sex scenes were nicely written.
