An easy-to-understand introduction to quantum mechanics. (Admittedly, Einstein was the only name I recognized when I started the book.) The language wasn't too academic-y, and I really enjoyed the structure Parker used: one physicist at a time, sharing the history / evolution of the theory through that particular physicist's ideas and experiments. There were several times I paused with the realization of just how much our lives were / are affected by quantum physics. I'll definitely buy a copy in the near future because there were many parts I would have loved to highlight for quick reference in the future.

Side note: My biggest goals in reading Quantum Legacy were a greater understanding of the theory AND inspiration for my fiction; both goals were achieved.

Reasonably well-written, but ... dude needs a better editor. I could barely follow the physics parts. I also had a lot of trouble with the more-technical parts about music.

A GLOSSARY would have helped a lot.

It was interesting, and I learned stuff. But I could have learned more, if only I could have understood what he was talking about.

And his summary of 'all' music types was very US-centric: rock, country, jazz, blues, gospel, classical, opera, and then, oh by the way, other countries do things differently. WTF?

Details of the recording careers of various singers seemed out of place. Also, I don't really care which 'music greats' he personally got to hear play or sing live, nor what his opinion of American Idol is.

Quite easy indeed (no math), and pleasant reading for people new to the subject.
