In this Pride and Prejudice variation William Collins is the curate at Hunsford, which is adjacent to Rosings Park, home of the de Bourghs. The daughter Anne is quite a healthy lady and it seems that Collins is taken with Anne. But what about Anne's feelings, and Lady Catherine's attitude if she was ever to notice. Soon they have a visit from a recovering Colonel Fitzwilliam. How will he perceive the situation. Meanwhile Darcy is visiting Bingley in Hertfordshire.

The story continues as Wickham's debt mount up. So much so he accepts a wager that he can capture Elizabeth Bennet's heart. Winning this would pay off his debts. But what are Elizabeth's feeling towards Wickham, and Darcy now.
