Astrology for Dummies is what the name implies, in the best manner possible. Astrologist Rae Orion begins with the basics without ever talking down to the reader. I found the writing style enjoyable, the information well-presented, and the For Dummies format, as always, quite useful. I know some take offense at the name of the series, but I highly recommend checking them out. When you are a complete and utter beginner (without access to a wise mentor), I can think of no better place to start.
