Such mixed feelings!
Really easy to read and a clever twist on the fake boyfriend trope but WOW what an unlikeable heroine. Hard to root for a happy ending when she’s made such awful choices along the way.

Sweet predictable but good character development & lite vacation read when you don’t want to think too hard!

Getting over break up / new romance set around a cast of elite gymnasts. The protagonists are former Olympians/near Olympians who are the coaches of an Olympic hopeful.
Some discussion of the sexual assault gymnastic scandal and the abusive coaches / eating disorders / mental health aspects of elite sports.
Also weird: it’s framed around prepping for the 2020 Olympics and sections are broken up by Month and Year. I know it has nothing at all to do with COVID-19 but seeing the dates laid out that way knowing what their year brings added a weird vibe for me too but that’s no fault if the book.… (más)
