A longtime lover and patron of Mammoth Cave, I managed to get two copies of this book in my excitement. But I was afraid to read either for fear the writing would not meet my expectations. Now that i have courageously finished this relatively easy read, I am happy to say the experience was pleasant, oftentimes returning me to the subterranean Mecca by mentioning places I have been and stories I have heard, all the while intertwining new and exciting tidbits.
