In this very readable and informative book O'Halpin provides a thorough overview of Ireland's internal security policies as they developed from 1922 through the Civil War to the transfer of government to FF in 1932. He then examines how policy reacted to changes in the international environment pre and post WW2. The footnoting is very clear and assists in the book’s readability and a wide bibliography was consulted during the research. This book could easy facilitate a non-scholar type audience with a general interest in the area being studied.… (más)
