Hans-Christian Oeser

As suggested by the title this is a collection of contemporary Irish short stories. There are eight stories, all different and well-written in their own way. I was the most impressed by the last story, "Five Notes after a Visit" by Anne Devlin, because although one of the shorter works in this books, it conveyed so much feeling.
This collection might just have aroused a liking for Irish literature in me and I'll probably see if I can find other writing by those authors.
