The first half of this book covers making the house itself, interior and exterior details, and furniture construction. Patterns and measurements are given for the wood-working and enough information is given that you can understand how to make your own plans. Since I already have a house, the best part of the book for me was the second half where the author has chapters on different crafting techniques (metal craft, needlecraft, paper crafts, bead crafts and accessory crafts) and suggests items that you can make to furnish the dollhouse and techniques you can use to come up with your own items. Dollhouses provide many opportunities to make small projects with varied techniques, and this is a great book to get you started.… (más)
