I've had this book for quite a while and even started to read it once before. For the most part, it is easy-to-read style, but there were portions where it would be easy to be convinced that you have whatever disease the author is discussing at the time.

Also, I would suggest consulting more recent books and literature on some of the problems discussed as medicine and science have probably advanced knowledge of at least some of these areas in the years since this book was written.
