Richard Norman (1)

Richard Norman is a level-headed philosopher who takes up some very large questions in service of advancing humanism as a worldview that isn't reductionist or reactive to religious precepts. He really has a common-sense approach and while I appreciated an overview of some different arguments around morality I do think that he ignored the hybridity inherent in cultural systems that problematize such a neat distinction between religion or religious belief and human experience and history.
