Webb, Dodge, 17 and on probation after trouble with the game reserve authorities of Arizona, is befriended by the elderly ranger, Brant Murphy, who has faith in the boy. Webb moves to a small cabin near Brant's and promises himself to lead a new life, but with the return of an old acquaintance, Bango the poacher, Webb lies-again before he can fully measure up to Brant's expectations. Information on conservation and a sincere narrative are commendable. There is a dog in this too.
