VOICES IN THE FOG is a political thriller with the emphasis on THRILLER! In all honesty, it does take a few chapters to get the book moving,but, when it does you cant stop reading until the very end. What is most scary about the book is that it could happen,or worse, could be happening right now,and we would never realize it ! I really hope we get to see more of Anna Marie and Ron in the future.

This book turned out to be the third or fourth of a series by the authors, it was readable as a stand-alone and was enjoyable in many respects. A typical spy novel in as much as the good guys win and bad guys loose. The only negatives are the moralistic digressions of the main character about the philosophical problem of having to do bad to have a good outcome. Perhaps they would have been more understandable if I’d read the previous book in the series; otherwise they were distractions from what otherwise is a good, well paced, story. I’d recommend to a fan of the genre, but would suggest starting with an earlier work.… (más)
