I'm a sucker for a romantic comedy, so I enjoyed this even though it was predictable and a little melodramatic. The main source of melodrama was Jake's renunciation of his older brother Finn. It felt to me like Jake was overreacting to pretty understandable/forgivable behavior on Finn's part. And then overreacting to completely understandable/forgivable behavior on Mia's part. But romances need drama.

I was going to give it three stars, then just thinking about the ending made me smile so I'll bump it up to four. This is a good escape into a fun story with diverse characters.… (más)

Need something light and easy and NOT depressing. This should do the trick.

Okay. I'm so very tempted to give this book 4 stars (which it does not really deserve) simply because it saved me from a reading slump.

A light hearted YA romance - sweet and cute but short on substance.

Taylor, a good girl, nicknamed the Ice Queen by her classmates, wakes up in Evan's bed, not remembering how she got there. Evan, an admitted player, isn't too worried, but Taylor freaks out. This sounds like an opening to one of the many rape books books I've read this year; but nothing happened, really! Instead this is a super cute YA romance, clean, funny, with just a little bit of angst.
