This book piqued my interests when I first saw it, but I was sorely disappointed once I started reading it. It has some nice pictures inside, but as you turn the pages you get one photo of either a bike or a bike part in close-up, and on the opposite page is a short quote from some famous authors or sportsmen. There is no information about the picture other than the brand and name, if any. So much space is wasted that could have been used to actually inform the reader about the company, the manufacturing process, the materials used, the personal opinions of some people who use that brand. I know the book is called Bike Porn, but even porn has interesting articles and interviews to go along with the glossies. This book is for people who only want to look at bikes without actually learning anything about bikes. Worth a visit (barely), not a purchase.… (más)
