Biografía breve
Virginia Myers has been writing since childhood — historical and contemporary novels for the general market and faith-based novels specifically for her Christian readers. She has also taught the craft of novel writing in several colleges, and has had the satisfaction of seeing a number of her students go on to become published. Some of them have now written more books than she has.

This may be because Virginia has spent a lot of time traveling to se the faraway places. She's crawled up through the low passages inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt and ridden a camel in the desert. She has sat in awe in most of the splendid cathedrals of Europe and watched the sun set in Kauai. She justifies the time and expense by insisting she may need to write about these places some time.

Never a nervous flyer, she can recall only one nail-biting emergency. Once over Switzerland there was plane trouble. She was looking out her window and saw a strange cloud formation and asked her seatmate, "Do you know what kinds of clouds those are?" And he, a British engineer, replied, "Actually, those aren't clouds. The pilot is dumping our jet fuel. I think there's a problem."

The efficient Swiss were well prepared for the return landing. The tarmac was cleared except for four fire trucks and six ambulances waiting. However, the pilot knew his job and the landing was smooth and all the passengers trooped off the plane and into the Zurich airport for lunch.

Having lived most of her life so far in a series of big cities, Virginia now lives in a small town she fell in love with when she lectured at the local college. It has a special bridge over a main street for squirrels, so they won't be hit by the cars below. Virginia has watched dozens of squirrels really using this bridge, so it was a good plan.
