I really enjoyed this story. One Fine Day By: Teresa F. Morgan is a keeper. The main character in the story (Steve) is a Hollywood star who wants to find someone who loves him for himself and not his fame. While visiting his sister (Ruby) suggests that he leaves the Hollywood persona behind and create an alter ego. This will allow him to enjoy a taste of living normally while searching for the girl of his dreams. Cute story. A MUST READ!!!

Jane Hunt Writer Book Reviews

Plus One is a Lucky Number has the feel good factor. It is a fast paced fun read with engaging characters and vivid settings.

Sophie plays down her looks and femininity to be taken seriously in a male dominated career. Hurt after a relationship with a selfish womaniser she shies away from dating and substitutes work for love. A family wedding looms and Sophie is single. No plus one. James a friend and work colleague calls in a favour and persuades Adam who Sophie secretly fancies to be her wedding date. Against his better judgement Adam agrees and the fun and confusion begins.

Adam is lush. A player who shies away from commitment he should be as unlikable as Sophie's ex but he isn't. His protectiveness towards Sophie is endearing as is his lack of insight into why he wants to look after her.

The sexual tension between Sophie and Adam is exciting and steamy. The tender, sensual love scenes are beautifully written and heighten the story's romance.

The ideal read if you're in need of a little T.L.C. Grab the chocolates and creamy latte, relax in a luxurious bubble bath and enjoy.

'I received and ARC from Harper Collins UK HarperImpulse via NetGalley in return for an honest review'.

Disclaimer: I received this book free from Pocket Books in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive any form of compensation.

One of the things that I love about reviewing books is discovering authors that I had never heard of nor read before. This was definitely one of those finds that I enjoyed. Truly great book by a new author!

We have all had those family events to go to where you are expected to bring a plus one. What would you do if you had to attend one and didn't have someone to take with you? Wouldn't you feel that much more pressure if your family was always trying to play matchmaker? Well, Sophie decided to tell everyone that she was bringing her boyfriend. However, there was one major catch. She didn't have one.

That's when her coworker/friend Adam steps in to intervene. He suggests that his friend James takes her.

Sophie of course doesn't tell Adam or James the entire story about the weekend. Then of course, James is also keeping one huge secret of his own.

I loved how all the characters came together. I could actually picture myself at the wedding with all of them. I really loved this book. Unfortunately, I didn't have the luxury of just sitting down and reading it right through. This is one of those books that I didn't want to put down at all.

I definitely recommend this book and will be adding this author to my list of authors to watch.
