24 months - Cute illustrations and a sweet story about a mouse who'd like to try sleeping in other animals' beds. Not an overly new concept but it's well done.
Charming illustrations of small mice and insects complement the miniature size of the book and its sparse, rhyming text. The images are comfortable and bright, and perfectly display the characteristics of each season, as well as the concepts associated with new words. The descriptive rhymes are short and easy to read, which makes them perfect for reciting to young children, or to be read by themselves. The words describe each season in ways that children can understand, with examples like building snowmen or flying a kite. The text is large but has plenty of space on each page. Small children will be able to carry the tiny book around with them, and the subject is great for an introduction to the seasons.… (más)
