This was my husband's favorite cookbook. It has the very best zucchini bread recipe I've ever used (and the only one I use now). It's "Lynn's Spicy Zucchini Bread" on page 281, and now that I'm reminded of it, I'll have to defrost some chopped zucchini and make some up tomorrow. Nothing like the smell of cinnamon and baking to make a winter day pleasant.

This is really a beautiful book, with common sense advice about the vegetables from the garden, and it's excellent for the novice cook, since it has pictures and instructions, and does not expect esoteric knowledge. It seems to be out of print, which is sad.… (más)
