This book is a compilation of one-page pieces done for "Connecticut Magazine." Nothing particularly ambitious here; just small essays on certain things associated with Connecticut. The choices are eclectic: they range from hot lobster roll, steamed cheeseburgers and white clam pizza to the Travelers Tower, Heublein Tower, Merritt Parkway, the USS Nautilus, the Charles W. Morgan...and so forth. Strictly for Connecticut fanciers. I'm a native, so I thoroughly enjoyed the book!

Carrie is not unique in that she did not fit into straight-laced New England society.....what makes her unique is that she did something about it!
