Published in 2008, this little 24 page book is part of Rourke Publishing's "Concept" series. The theme of this one is Big and Little.

The book's approach is to use bright, kid-friendly photos on pages where the color runs from edge to edge. It starts off contrasting a baby and an adult and then proceeds to show a goldfish in a bowl, and a giant aquarium with sharks and turtles.

This last photo, btw, is the only dark one in the bunch; the rest are bright and cheerful and quite creative. For example, the author has chosen a hornet coming out of a small hole in some wood and contrasted it with a big bunny sitting in the opening (hole) of it's giant den. There is also a mouse house which is contrasted with a family in front of their house.

This would be a good book toddlers and preschoolers. Particularly those that are bored with the standard types of contrasts that are shown.
