Shirley G. McQuillis

A name index to the recorded and unrecorded wills of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, from 1785-1850, which covers Volume I. The compiler cautions that the information on recorded wills was taken from the will books and may have appeared in as many as 10 different way, but only one spelling was chosen for the index. The unrecorded wills never appeared in the will books of the county, and therefore don't have a volume and page number. The date on the unrecorded wills has been estimated and in some cases may be for after 1850.
