Whilst this did contain some great diagrams, it is a very short book (more akin to a presentation) and I didn't find it took me on a journey that explained astronomy in a manner that had me begging for more.

Great for the beginner, awesome for someone who wants a refresher. Easy to understand and follow along. Tons of practice work to help with retention. This book sets out to do what it is supposed to in a big way.

Great book for practicing balancing chemical equations. The book starts with a brief explanation of the various aspects of balancing chemical equations. The book is then dividing into chapters (question banks) of increasing complex balancing problems. Answers to all the questions are in the back. This book will be a great resource for any high school chemistry student you need a bit of practice balancing chemical equations. If I were to recommend a way to improve the next version of the book, I would recommend adding additional explanations for several of the problems in each chapter.

After all the string theory, there's a detour into special and general relativity, which has rather helpful illustrations, but doesn't get into quite enough detail about how time is similar, and different, from the spatial dimensions. The relativity section should have been before the string theory section. Disappointing.… (más)
