Mary McIntosh

A disappointingly brief book which ends after only 73 pages. The author makes a few interesting observations on criminality and then classifies organized crime into picaresque, craft, project and business organization. That seems like a reasonably useful starting point, but the book ends there. I could not quite understand why the author settled for a short sketch when so much more could have been written on the subject, but this is still a good book for readers interested in the sociology of organized crime.… (más)
