I like biographies, but wouldn't normally buy a biography of a cricketer - but this one had some additional resonance. His wife had just died of complications arising from breast cancer, my ex mother-in-law had just been diagnosed. What I noticed about this biography was the very strong messages of 'live life as it comes', and 'never let go of your dreams' - because you never know what you can achieve or what could happen. Quite inspriational really. And I learnt a little bit about cricket - but still don't know why they have a fielding position called 'silly mid-off'… (más)
