Stupsi is a cute cartoon hedgehog from the German forests. With the aid of his pal Pauli Bear, Professor Claus Mattheck explains his theories on the physical signs and body language of trees: mechanical optimisation and responses to growth environments and both biotic and abiotic wounding. This is an excellent introduction to the subject for anyone interested in why trees grow in different directions and that no two are ever alike. Professor Mattheck likes dogs and knives as well as trees, and is probably the best lecturer I've ever seen in action.… (más)
