Welton B. Marsland

I read the book two years ago, but still think about it now. By The Currawong's Call is a well written, realistic novel about two gay men discovering each other in a tiny Australian town in 1891. I really enjoyed this one and thought the ending was clever.

I still check to see if Welton has written another novel. Nothing yet, but I do hope to read more work from him.

4.5 stars. Great characters. Wonderful seeing. Loved the time period. The writing is stellar. Cannot wait to read another novel by Mr. Marsland.
