This is the book to have if you are or have a gamer in the house! This is a reference book.... not a story book....be prepared to delve into aspects of the industry you didn’t even know were there! I learned so much! I had no idea there were so many ways to contribute to this industry nor how far back it goes! It features 100 women who helped build and shape the gamer industry... even Christy Marx! (Truely outrageous anyone?) I respected her before, I respect her so much more now... beyond the bios this delves into the nuts and bolts of every aspect of the industry and what is expected of you , from story design to marketing to programming....and so very much more in between....if you have someone dreaming of being part of the video game industry this should be one book in their hand!
