The author has given us a full lineup of wonderful characters from Matt who is in the remodeling business to Andie who loves to ride horses and cheerfully teaches young Callie. Caroline has just managed to live through the murder of her husband, so inheriting the old farmhouse far away from the city is a complete reprieve.

With lots of detail, there is not only the remodeling of the old farmhouse, but also of the lives of those who are hurting. Paul, Matt’s nephew, has been deserted by his addicted mother. Callie, just a little girl, has lost her daddy. Caroline, a counselor, is trying to establish a life as a single parent. Matt needs to forgive himself for something in the past. Will any or all of them find peace in their circumstances?

This was my first Mary Manners book and it absolutely will not be my last. I knew, from page 1, that I was not putting this book down until I finished, and I was right. Less than 24 hours later and I was done. And I wanted more. I wanted to be lost in this story of Proven Love forever!

These characters. Oh, how I loved these blessed characters. They dealt with real life issues, issues that had me tearing up because I often felt like it was exactly what I went through years ago. These issues absolutely needed to be a part of the story to fully appreciate the meaning of the story. As someone who has been in Meg’s shoes, I appreciated the strength and conviction that Manners chiseled into her character. And Colt. Oh, my! How I loved his devotion his sister, little Suzie, and to Meg.

This is a beautifully and tenderly woven story of letting the pain of the past go. It is one not to be missed by anyone! The messages are vibrantly woven into the story, the love shines bright through the characters, and Manners show us that not everyone is the same, but to Him, we are just who we need to be and we don’t need to lose sight of that. A magnificent, 5 star love story for the keeper shelf, for sure!

I originally had downloaded this book as an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download on January 20, 2019 but having read it [one story/day since then until today – 1/24/19] I decided to return the KU I’d borrowed and purchase a copy for my permanent KINDLE library

Although I might be a romance author who’s written a YA Paranormal romance novel and an erotic novella [under another name]. I’m also a rather voracious book reviewer who reads a broad spectrum of genres. Yet, I always have to find a sweet, wholesome, inspirational romance story which will be able to warm the cockles of practically anyone’s heart even on a cold wintry night to read, especially now that the majority of the books I’m reading/reviewing are for Christian books. In this collection of 5 stories, written by 5 wonderful authors, readers will get this kind sensation as they read each one.

There’s a wondrous feeling one when gets as they read a story where a woman or man is alone with a child and they’re able to find someone who’d make their dream of a HEA for themselves and their child becoming a reality.
Or how about a story where a protagonist has baggage from their previous failed relationships is finally able to put this aside and willing to look and accept love again into their life. Or, a story where kismet seems to play a role in bringing two individuals despite the problems which are surrounding them.

If these are the kind of sweet, inspirational romance stories you love to read, then you need to consider buying a KINDLE copy of this book for 99 cents for 5 such stories [about 20cents per story] or read as a KINDLE Unlimited as I have.
