Patrick Mader

It took a little while to get into this book, but I ended up enjoying it. It featured athletes from a variety of sports (though ice hockey was heavily represented) and eras, going back to the 1950s. (Not as good on racial diversity, but that might be because of a relative lack of diversity in the pool of Minnesota Olympians). I especially liked hearing about the athletes' introductions to their sports. The size and weight of this book, though, is a little cumbersome for reading for long periods of time.… (más)
