A truly wonderful accounting of the bond between the author and her dog. As someone who recently lost a beloved dog, this book hit close to home. I put off reading the book for a few months because I was worried it was too soon after I'd lost my own dog and it could be depressing for me, but I shouldn't have worried. The book is wonderfully uplifting and heartfelt, without being too sad. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has loved a dog as a true family member.

I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book through the Goodreads First Reader program, but if I hadn't been that lucky, I would have definitely purchased this book.… (más)
