Macdonald is Director and founder of the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit in the Department of Zoology at Oxford University, where he is Professor of Wildlife Conservation and a Fellow of Lady Margaret Hall. The New Encyclopedia of Mammals por David MacDonald
I can't even begin to describe how much this book fascinated me as a child. Although the hardcover edition I own already begins to fall apart due to the time which has passed and the thousands of times I opened the pages, it still enthralls me to even think of the amount of time I spent with this book in my childhood, fascinated with animals as I was back then. The wonderfully elaborate descriptions of each single mammal allowed this to become a fascinating work which I'd even call a must-read for everyone interested in animals and their habitats.… (más)
