The second in the Richmond High Series, Of Lies and Zombies, is another exceptional novel from Angela Lynn. Again her characters come right off the page and engage with the reader.

Within the first few pages I was emotionally invested in what was happening in Katie Bell's life. And when she meets Logan, their dialogue and his character just kept me smiling. The contrast of the emotional dilemma going on in Katie Bell's life and the fun and hi-jinks of Logan and Adam's zombie movie making, keeps the reader hooked.

Angela Lynn has a real talent for creating believable every day characters and story lines, making it easy for the reader to connect and climb into her books.

What is important to me as a reader is to engage with the characters and the story, and often that means I have to have some kind of emotion about the characters and what is happening to them. Within the first two pages of All The What Ifs I experienced strong emotions about the lead character, Ashley and how she was being treated by her family, in particular her mother and father, and from that point on I was hooked. I shared her joy of new found friendship; her fear when making hard decisions and confronting situations, and her excitement as she fell in love for the first time. And despite there being no fairy tale ending, I felt the story was complete and gave me everything I wanted. What a ride! I can’t wait for Angela Lynn’s next book!… (más)
