Highly likable cast boosts would-be screwball comedy of a writer trying to win a bet with his publisher, who (the writer!) becomes mixed up with a beautiful young lady and her adorable young twin sisters--and some gangsters out to recover a pile of loot. Give this cast a better script and it could have been a classic.
2022 movie #207. 1943. A more musical remake of the original with Claude Rains as the Phantom and Nelson Eddy, noted movie singer, as the romantic lead. As one wag said (and I agree) "Too much opera and not enough Phantom".
