Orton Lowe (1873–1930)

My edition of The Arabian Nights was designed for children: it has large print, colour illustrations and tales that don't present too much sex and violence. For the most part I enjoyed the tales, especially the more famous ones, although I am sure there is a great deal missing that I'd have to look for in a translation that is closer to the original. And because it was put together in the 1920s, the language is a bit more old-fashioned. Still, for a brief overview it serves its purpose.
