The 50 Greatest Love Letters of All Time por David Lowenherz

There are fifty letters in this collection and, if one's definition is sufficiently broad, one might even call them love letters. What criteria the author used to determine, "the greatest," however, is a complete mystery to me. It ranges the beautiful Browning correspondence to a painfully trite fan letter to Elvis from someone whom I've never heard of before and I'm pretty sure I won't hear of again.

As the editor of this strange volume is a manuscripts dealer, I suspect a more accurate title would be, "The 50 Greatest Love Letters of all Time That I Have Owned Or Whose Copyright Has Expired." I guess I now know why it was remaindered.… (más)
