what the Flark did I just read? I picked this up because Groot and Rocket are my favorite guardians and I heard it was a good "space western" comic but I did not expect to be moved by this charming epic bromance between Rocket and Groot but I was! This book is funny and genuinely moving; I had tears in my eyes at the end of the last issue. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody who has ever read a comicbook. This is proof of what the medium is capable of. Also, I AM GROOT.
Quite a terrifying view of some of the biggest crises and events in DC history that asks 'what if'.
That was just adorable. I thought I had sworn off Guardians of the Galaxy comics, because I could never figure out where the beginning of the story was. Turns out the key is to just read the books for teens. Heh.
If you love Groot and ever wanted to know how it is that Rocket Raccoon understands what he's saying, take this for a spin. I loved the appearance by the Silver Surfer and Dawn Greenwood, who affectionately lets him know when he's "surferizing." The hapless trio of Skrull were pretty hilarious too.
