A great tool for first time bloggers

While not too much of this book was new to me, I greatly appreciate a chance to take advice from someone who is more successful than I am at something that I enjoy doing.

A quick read and well worth the time

This book is all about changing your mindset around money. There are plenty of books with all the particulars of the how-to manage your money, but not a lot of books about changing the way you think about money. Even for that reason alone it makes this book worthwhile to read. And like it or not, money and your mindset around it, affects every person.

Mr. Lotich shares how God changed the way he thinks about money. The authenticity and openness were refreshing and never did I sense even a hint of any condemnation in this book.

He also shares new ways to look at familiar scriptures and lots of wisdom, plain and simple.

Overall there was a very positive tone, even almost joyful and I found the bite-sized chapters (divided into 31 days as a devotional) to be very convenient to read.

One point stood out to me and it is that it’s all God’s money and we are merely stewards. He talks about stewardship quite a bit so if you could use more information on that topic I definitely recommend this book for you.

This book is not loaded with a lot of particulars in the how-to manage your money area, but there were lots of general suggestions and lots of different topics were addressed such as, discontentment, stewardship, debt, tithing, budgeting, trust and giving.

A couple of quotes I enjoyed that were included in the chapter on money quotes were:

“It is possible to give without loving, but it is impossible to love without giving.” Richard Braustein

“You can everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” Zig Ziglar

Since every person handles money in some form or another and there are precious few books dealing with a biblical mindset of money, I really recommend this book to every Christian!

My overall review is that you need to know that I have 0 debts and have 0 debts for years. I learned the hard way buy going into debt, getting out of debt and learning to live a simple lifestyle with 0 debts. If I do not have cash to buy something I do not buy it is my only rule.
Now, if you are in debt and need helpful information to really save you money, and then this is a great book with simple helpful tips and tricks to get you to save even if you "think" you already know how. I am a huge fan of Dave Ramsey and this book will talk about what Dave Ramsey tells as well.
This is an information book that anyone can take at least one tip and save money and that is what we all want, to save money. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to get out of debt, stay out of debt and help others do the same.
