Jack Hobbs is one of the greatest cricketers of all time and a “Wisden” Cricketer of the Century. Unsurprisingly, he was the first entry in the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians’ Famous Cricketers Series. I have the second edition, apparently far more thorough than the first.

Hobbs scored 61670 first-class runs, all of which are covered here, innings by innings, as well as his bowling career, his performances on each first-class ground he played on, and every other conceivable statistic, as well as, for some reason, a note on fellow English cricketer Andrew Sandham.… (más)
