I pre-ordered this as soon as I knew it would be published. Having read the first two in the series, I hoped this would be as good. News flash-it is. It literally hits the ground running in a desert on a world that's eerily similar to Earth. It's not long before the surviving teens find themselves in a seemingly abandoned city, then confront a group of survivors who are facing extinction by the same aliens Kenzie has been battling since they invaded Sanctuary in the first book. How they deal with the distrust between them and the survivors, the aliens, and a mind-blowing discovery, not to mention a toe curling battle near the end of the story, make for gripping reading. People get killed and the ending isn't what Kenzie and crew might hope for, but it makes sense. This book certainly lived up to my expectations big time.… (más)
