I grabbed this book at the Teaching Professor Conference and I'm glad I did. I am still somewhat new at teaching in blended format and I would recommend this book to anyone, novice or expert in need of refreshing or redesign. The book is, as the title indicates, very practical yet research-based. But the feature I found the most useful is the large number of worksheets on all the topics discussed throughout the chapters so you can keep track of what you are doing while (re-)designing a course.
