I was intimidated by this book for a long time... but it is SO worth reading... It just allows the Gospel of Matthew to slowly seep into your skin... to look not so much at the exegesis... but in discovering who Jesus was and his relationship with his disciples through the words themselves. I only read most of the first volume before I left OLAM... but I really want to read the second too.
