Ghost Country por Patrick Lee
The Breach was an excellent book, and Ghost Country was even better. Action throughout kept me on the edge of my seat, and it had great character development. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next in the series (hopefully it comes out soon).
This was tremendously fun and fast read. Main character is one with very complicated past (to say the least) and after few pages he gets involved in the very bizarre affair with top secret world organization called Tangent.
And then story just gains more and more momentum - entire plot looks like it could have been Fringe TV show crossed with XCOM/Xenonauts/Delta Green/.
And while I was constantly wondering how come that our hero is so capable and adaptable final twist (which was completely unexpected) came around. And now I need to read rest of the series :)
