Based on the Twelve Steps of AA, but adapted to reflect the doctrine, principles, and beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What I think is the real power of this manual-workbook, is the emphasis on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. While we get involved with addictions for a variety of reasons, the most effective and healing recovery comes when we can let the Atonement take full effect in our lives, changing our hearts and healing our hearts and minds.
