Arnold Lazarus was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. His intention was to become a journalist, but he became intrigued by psychology instead. After receiving his clinical training in behavior modification with phobic patients, Lazarus became one of the leaders in promoting behavior therapy in mostrar más South Africa.
