Quilt history in Pennsylvania is so rich that quilt documentation has been done by county rather than statewide. This book studies quilts from Sullivan, Columbia, Montour, Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Juniata, and Huntingdon counties in central Pennsylvania, with emphasis on 19th century quilts. The text sections include inventories from estates, personal correspondence, and other documentation, and an extensive bibliography is included.
