Alcoholism is a difficult problem to talk about with children, but this book does it thoroughly and delicately. While many children might face this problem at home, other adults in their lives may never know. Having this book, or a similar book, available to children is very helpful and important. Often the biggest help to a difficult situation is just a little more information on the subject.

Such a great book for not only young children even teenagers to understand the meanings of alcoholism. It gives examples of how the people around the alcoholic feels and some children might be able to connect with it and help them overcome the feeling of responsibility. This is also an excellent book because it gives the reader some ways that they as a person or the alcoholic can get help.
