A fun Indiana Jones/The Mummy with fun combative leads and adventure in a South American jungle.
Enjoyed the byplay between main couple, the second half brought in more of the adventure and the romance got left behind a little; the "I love yous" felt suddenly said.
Fun time overall though, the heroine was a blast with her competence along the hero's befuddlement turned attraction to her capabilities.

I quite like the overblown storytelling of a bodice ripper from time to time. So when when I saw that Betina Krahn whose books I am familiar with had written one well why not.
But I was disappointed by it. First of all the heroine is one of those feisty types (read annoying) and that might have been fun since the hero was an uptight type but most of their interactions followed the same pattern. Whitney would make Byron angry and he would find himself becoming ahem "excited" I didnt find their relationship had much going for it apart from lust.
Skip this and pick up one of Betina Krahns later work.
