Well-written, and I learned a lot. Not my favorite read of the year...mainly to do with the subject matter. I wish there had been more about the afterlife of arenas...I really liked the section on Salt Lake City. Other favorite chapters: audience engagement/hype, and logistics.

I'm an avid sports fan whose been to 25-30 stadiums around the country and this book delves into several topics I've never thought about like public stadium funding, what happens to defunct stadiums, and where stadium turf comes from. Definitely thorough and very well-done.
