⤑ research tag: in an effort to organise my shelves, I'm going to be labelling the books I'm using for study purposes as I tend to dip in and out of these.

There are some really good primary sources in here, but I haven't read the whole thing yet. Will do a more in-depth reading once I find tape to put my copy back together as it's an old copy and it ripped in my hands. :(

This is a good companion to 'Inside Delta Force.' This book contains much more information about the formation of the unit and the logistics needed to create such a group within the military. 'Inside Delta Force' has more information from the perspective of an early recruit. Both books should be read to get a good picture of the unit.

Difficult to read much at one time because of the relentless and never-ending horrific treatment of the prisoners. Those who survived to tell the tales were amazing men.

A book that was frankly hard to read, the author weaves the stories of the March survivors seamlessly. Even hard reading at the end was the treatment of these men by their own government in telling them they had no psychological damage and refused them treatment.
